Our Story
Group Sourcing is a strategic function with a mandate from Exco to improve Absa’s cost to income ration though cost reduction or revenue generation from working with Absa’s supply base.
The department has grown significantly in the past 2 years to 72 full-time employees. Group Sourcing is significantly ahead of the annualised R453m cost reduction target that we agreed with the Business in 2007, whilst providing a world-class, professional sourcing service that demonstrates value.
Our vision is to embed image of Group Sourcing being easy to do business with, and delivering a world-class, professional sourcing service which consistently adds demonstrable value to the Absa Group.
